Prior to his real estate career he was a Tacoma Police Officer for 14 years. In addition to serving the citizens of Tacoma, Terry was member of the Search and Rescue Team, Urban Disaster Team, and Advisor for the Boy Scouts of America, " Tacoma Police Explorers.” Terry has put together a staff of agents, and developed an alliance with local Tacoma Title and Escrow Companies to enhance service to all of his clients. | Terry spearheaded the Fort Steilacoom Dog Park. From March 2004 until March 2009, Terry served as the president of POP, Protect Our Pets the organization responsible for raising the funds to pay for the fencing and other improvements for the 23 acres off leash Dog Park. Terry organized the volunteers that worked for nines months installing the fencing for the Dog Park. Prior to the Dog Park. Terry has a strong commitment for the care of Dogs as well as all animals. |

| I am a third generation Realtor, I began my career working for a competing company to the one that once employed my father. I initially volunteered for over year as an assistant and buyers agent with a local top producer in 1999. I believe whole heartedly in the mentoring process, I did not want to just learn how to put together some sales I wanted to learn how to be a great Realtor. My experiences in real estate under this agent ranged from: selling homes, delivering flyers and digging in sign posts. In addition to the time invested in working in real estate, I worked evenings driving a forklift for a year and a half for financial support. This was soon unnecessary as my sales began to rival my mentors; we then became partners and formed Leigh & Johnson Real Estate Marketing Group. As partners our sales have exceeded over $43,000,000 in a year, and average over 30 million per year. The success of our partnership motivated us to purchase a Windermere franchise. I was now an owner of a franchise of the same company that employed my father. In 2006 Terry Leigh and I opened Windermere Metropolitan on Commerce, the first national franchise to locate in downtown Tacoma, a revitalized community cultured on high tech and the arts. We enjoy a trolley stop at the front door of our office that adds a unique urban attraction to our location. Our location has not only been attractive to our clientele given the increase in urban housing developments including our McCarver Village, but it has been appealing to perspective Realtors as well. In late 2008 Terry and I viewed the recession as a great opportunity to expand. The new office is located at 3906 South 74th Street in Tacoma, WA. Our new location offers a class A retail space of approximately 5000 Sq ft and is conveniently located 1 mile off of I-5. This is an excellent location with convenient access to 2 Title & Escrow companies with residential and commercial services, Tax Deferred Exchange Company, a Real Estate Law Firm and a Real Estate School. We are very excited to continue the growth of our already established name in the Pierce County. |
